Two crushed sandwich cookies are enough to flavor an entire shake. Blend most of them in for flavor and save a little for the top. Cookies and cream protein powder works too, but vanilla whey plus real cookies tastes better.
Ingredients
Makes 1 serving.
- 1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder (about 30 g)
- 1 cup 2% milk
- 3 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
- ½ medium frozen banana
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 3 ice cubes
Method
- Crush the cookies in a bag with a rolling pin and set one cookie aside.
- Add the milk, protein powder, banana, vanilla, and ice to the blender.
- Add two crushed cookies and blend until smooth, about 40 seconds.
- Top with the remaining crushed cookie.

Tips
- Pulse, do not blend, if you want visible cookie pieces.
- Chocolate cookies turn the shake gray. That is normal.
Swaps and variations
- Use a gluten-free sandwich cookie if you avoid gluten.
- Use mini chocolate chips in place of one cookie.
