Peanut Butter Honey Yogurt Shake

Greek yogurt adds tang to peanut butter and honey, so the shake tastes like a peanut butter sandwich.

Peanut Butter Honey Yogurt Shake

This shake leans on Greek yogurt for most of its protein, with only half a scoop of powder. The tang from the yogurt balances the peanut butter, and the honey ties them together. It is a good option if you do not like the flavor of protein powder.

Ingredients

Makes 1 serving.

  • ¾ cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • ½ scoop vanilla whey protein powder (about 30 g)
  • ¾ cup skim milk
  • 1 tbsp natural peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 ice cubes

Method

  1. Add the milk, yogurt, and peanut butter to the blender.
  2. Add the protein powder, honey, cinnamon, and ice.
  3. Blend until smooth, about 40 seconds.
  4. Drizzle a little extra honey over the top before serving.

Tips

  • Warm the honey jar in hot water for a minute if it is stiff. It mixes in more evenly.
  • Use full-fat yogurt for a creamier shake. The calories rise a bit.

Swaps and variations

  • Use plain skyr in place of the Greek yogurt.
  • Add half a banana for extra sweetness and thickness.
