This is one of the lowest-calorie shakes on the site. It uses water instead of milk, so it tastes lighter and more like a juice drink. The lemon juice keeps it bright and covers the flavor of the protein powder.

Tips
- Use a clear whey isolate or a light vanilla whey. Heavy, creamy powders make this taste muddy.
- Fresh lemon juice tastes noticeably better than bottled here.
Swaps and variations
- Use sparkling water to top the finished shake. Pour it in gently so it does not foam over.
- Use strawberries in place of raspberries for a strawberry-lemon version.
