Peanut Butter Mass Gainer Shake

A calorie-dense shake for anyone trying to gain weight: two scoops of protein, whole milk, oats, banana, and peanut butter.

Peanut Butter Mass Gainer Shake

Gaining weight is mostly a matter of eating more calories than you burn, and liquid calories are easier to get down than solid food. This shake delivers a large amount of both protein and energy. Drink it slowly if you are not used to a shake this size.

Ingredients

Makes 1 serving.

  • 2 scoops vanilla whey protein powder (about 30 g)
  • 1 ½ cups whole milk
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 medium banana
  • 2 tbsp natural peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 3 ice cubes

Method

  1. Add the oats and milk to the blender and blend on high for 30 seconds to break the oats down.
  2. Add the protein powder, banana, peanut butter, honey, and ice.
  3. Blend for another 45 seconds, until completely smooth.
  4. Drink within a few minutes, before it thickens.
